Remote Online Notarization works by connecting the signer and notary through a secure video call. The signer’s identity is verified using a multi-step process, after which the document is electronically signed and the notary applies an electronic notarial seal.

You need a device with a camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, a valid ID, and access to a secure RON session. You also need to be ready to complete identity verification during the appointment.

RON is legal in many states, but the laws vary. It’s important to check the specific regulations in your state to ensure compliance.

Remote Online Notarization (RON) is an excellent choice for its unmatched convenience, eliminating the need for in-person meetings. It offers enhanced security through digital records and robust identity verification, ensuring faster and more efficient document processing.
